
Training for HR Managers
The “Conflict Resolution Excellence” training is a two-day program designed to empower HR Managers with necessary negotiation, mediation, and conflict management skills. By equipping participants with these critical tools, the course aims to enable HR professionals to effectively prevent, manage, and resolve workplace and external disputes. Through a combination of theoretical knowledge, practical exercises, and interactive discussions, participants will learn the fundamentals of negotiation, mediation techniques, conflict awareness, and advanced strategies for achieving win-win outcomes. The goal is to develop the HR Managers’ knowledge and skills for resolving effectively through negotiation and mediation disputes that could be both internal or external to their organizations.
Distributive negotiation [General principles for analyzing the negotiation, Negotiation and communication techniques, Negotiation methods – based on interests and positions, intuitive, distributive, Basic negotiation theory]; “Value claiming” negotiation [Possible Area of Agreement, ZOPA / BATNA / WATNA]; Integrative negotiation [The four principles of integrative negotiation]; ADR fundamentals [ADR Spectrum, Conflict analysis and dynamics, mediation definitions, underlying principles of mediation (e.g., confidentiality, neutrality/independence, impartiality, self-determination), the mediation process and stages – ADR Center’s 5×5 matrix]; Demonstration of a mediation process; Several exercises, case studies and other practical activities.
